Another Week, Another Bad Poll On The President’s Handling Of The Economy

After years of adding trillions of dollars to the national debt and proposing trillions more in new deficits and taxes, President Obama’s approval ratings on the economy have cratered. Last night, NBC News released another poll that confirmed the President’s sinking approval on the economy with only 37 percent of Americans approving of President Obama’s performance.

A New NBC News Poll Has Found Only 37 Percent Of Americans Approve Of The President’s Handling Of The Economy, While 58 Percent Disapprove. “Why the modest increase for the president after the momentous — and historic — event of bin Laden’s death? It’s the economy. Only 37 percent approve of the president’s handling of the economy, while 58 percent disapprove.” (Mark Murray, “Poll: Economy Fears Temper Obama’s Bin Laden Bump,” NBC News, 5/9/11)
