“This bill is to help current small businesses get moving again and hiring again. This is a great start and we hope the same bipartisan movement that was shown on the floor with the JOBS Act, is represented for this bill. Once again, the Majority in the House is leading the movement of the right policies for this country.“

“One of the questions you have is, ‘why have we put this bill forward?’ Well, you see that our economy is continuing to struggle. Small business is the greatest contributor of growth in our economy; every measurement shows it. When you look at the time when the economy was growing, from the end of the last recession in 2001 to the beginning of the most recent recession in 2007, small businesses created the growth. They created 7 million jobs while large businesses only added 1 million.

“Today we are at our lowest point of new start-up creation in 17 years of small businesses. This is the jumpstart needed to get this economy moving again.

“A few weeks ago we were here introducing the JOBS Act. That was to help capital creation and establish regulation reform for small businesses. This bill is to help current small businesses get moving again and hiring again.

“This is a greatstart and we hope the same bipartisan movement that was shown on the floor with the JOBS Act, is represented for this bill. Once again, the Majority in the House is leading the movement of the right policies for this country.
