Apparently it's Infrastructure Week?

Make It In America
…But President Trump and Congressional Republicans have nothing to tout on infrastructure. No legislation from the White House, no hearings or Committee mark-ups, no action on the Floor. CQ’s Budget Tracker highlights just how little progress the White House has made on an infrastructure proposal. The full story can be found here. Take a look at some of the highlights from Budget Tracker:
“It may be Infrastructure Week (again?), but don’t look for new funding this year.”

“That was effectively the message Monday as Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao headlined an event organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the AFL-CIO and other Infrastructure Week advocates. While reiterating the administration’s goals,  Chao declined to endorse any of the funding options required for any spending spree on roads, bridges, airports, water systems and more.”

“Senior Republicans lawmakers had dismissed the chances of a major infrastructure bill this year months ago, despite bipartisan support for the concept.”

We’re looking at yet another broken promise from President Trump, who claimed this was a priority for his Administration.
