Communications Director Position

Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-NY17) seeks proactive communications director for Member office in DC. Responsibilities include developing and implementing district- and issue-specific communications strategies, including substantial constituent outreach and digital content; planning frequent press events in district; pitching stories nationally and in competitive NYC media market; and writing press releases, statements, op-eds, weekly e-newsletters.
