Congressional Progressive Caucus seeks Policy Advisor

The Congressional Progressive Caucus seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Policy Advisor based in Washington, D.C., to support and advance CPC Members’ legislative agendas.

The ideal candidate will have legislative experience on the Hill and strong relationships with organizations and individuals within the progressive movement. Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Applicant must also demonstrate an ability to think strategically, advance legislation, and work in close coordination with team members in an extremely fast-paced environment. A sense of humor is greatly appreciated.

Daily responsibilities include drafting issue-area and policy memos, analyzing legislation, coordinating briefings, liaising with advocacy organizations, engaging with policy staffers in and outside of the Progressive Caucus, and drafting letters, op-eds, and speeches.
