House Member personal office seeks an experienced and reliable Executive Assistant/Director of Operations. Scheduling duties include managing the Member’s schedule, making travel arrangements, vetting invitations and meeting requests, and coordinating staff input for meetings. Operational responsibilities include management of incoming constituent assistance requests, assigning these to appropriate staff, and providing weekly overviews to the Chief of Staff. Financial management, including preparation of the budget and periodic reports to the Member, as well as working with vendors both in Washington and the District, will also be part of the portfolio.
