Schedule for the Week of January 14, 2019

"On Monday, the House will meet at 12:00 p.m for Morning Hour debate and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business, with votes postponed until 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the House will meet at 10:00 a.m. for Morning Hour debate and 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.

On Thursday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business.  Last votes of the week are expected no later than 3:00 p.m.

The House will consider several bills under suspension of the Rules. The complete list of suspension bills will be announced by close of business today.

In addition, the House will consider H.R. 268 – Disaster Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2019 (Rep. Lowey – Appropriations). Chairwoman Nita Lowey released this legislation last week. It will provide relief and recovery assistance for Americans affected by recent hurricanes, wildfires, typhoons, and other natural disasters. H.R. 268 will be considered subject to a Rule.

The House will also consider additional legislation related to FY19 Appropriations. We are on day twenty-one of this shutdown and House Democrats will continue to work so that it comes to an end. 

Lastly, additional legislative items are possible."
