The House will also consider H.R. 1, The For the People Act of 2019, sponsored by Rep. Sarbanes. This legislation makes critical reforms to campaign finance, promotes voting rights and election integrity, and restores ethics and accountability.  This bill has been in the works for months as part of Democrats' ‘For the People’ platform, and I am pleased to be bringing it to the Floor."
