The House is now in recess subject to the call of the Chair. 

At approximately 6:30 p.m., the House will reconvene and take the following votes on bills considered under suspension of the Rules:
  1. H.R. 1374 – Enhancing State Energy Security Planning and Emergency Preparedness Act of 2021 (Rep. Rush – Energy and Commerce) – 20 minutes
  2. H.R. 983 – Preventing Crimes Against Veterans Act of 2021, as amended (Rep. Deutch – Judiciary) – 20 minutes
These are the last votes for the day
**Members are advised that each vote taken by the House will now be open for a total of 20 minutes and will close immediately thereafter.  Voting groups will no longer be implemented.  Members will be provided 20 minutes for each vote to assure that Members casting proxy votes have sufficient time to cast those votes, and votes will be closed at the termination of 20 minutes.  Members, especially Members casting proxy votes on behalf of other Members, are expected to vote in a timely manner.
