The House is now taking the the following votes on H.R. 447, beginning with Group 1 (Rep. Adams to Rep. Cloud):
  1. Hill Amendment – Changes the Title II funding partnership requirements to choose between partnering with an industry or sector partnership, or with a labor or joint labor management organization, instead of partnering with both, to the extent practicable. (2) to the extent practicable – (A) be part of an industry or sector partnership; or (B) partner with a labor or joint labor-management organization – Minimum of 5 Minutes

    Following this vote, the House will take the following votes, by groups:
  2. Stefanik Amendment – Allows the quality standards for apprenticeship programs to be waived allowing low-quality programs access to federal aid, eliminates the National Advisory Committee on Apprenticeships, eliminates the interagency agreement with the Department of Education, and cuts 70% of the funding compared with National Apprenticeship Act of 2021 – Minimum of 5 Minutes
  3. Final Passage of H.R. 447 – National Apprenticeship Act of 2021 (Rep. Scott (VA) – Education and Labor) – VOTE YES – Minimum of 5 Minutes
