  4. Panetta/Waltz Amendment – Adds a finding that collaborations and partnerships between institutions of higher education and Federal agencies help ensure digital data focused on coastal management issues are communicated effectively between such entities – 2 minutes
  5. Mucarsel-Powell Amendment – Ensures that corals are included as a natural element eligible for grants provided for by the Living Shoreline Grant Program – 2 minutes
  6. Luria Amendment – Directs NOAA to consider the potential of a living shoreline project to support the resiliency of military communities when developing criteria for grant applications – 2 minutes
  7. (IF REQUESTED) Johnson (LA) Amendment Undermines key provisions of the Marine Mammal Protection Act to expedite the issuance of permits for seismic airgun surveys for the oil and gas industry and other industry activities that can harm marine mammals. The amendment would also waive legal requirements for “take” and “consultation” under the Endangered Species Act for threatened and endangered marine mammals 2 minutes
  8. Final Passage of H.R. 279 – Coastal and Great Lakes Communities Enhancement Act (Rep. Kilmer – Natural Resources) – VOTE YES – 5 minutes
