LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT: Rep. Jerrold Nadler is seeking a legislative assistant to handle an active transportation portfolio as well as labor, energy, environment, and other domestic policy issues. Responsibilities include drafting and analyzing legislation and amendments; writing statements, letters, and memos; meeting with constituents; and advising member on relevant policy issues. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have 2-3 years of Hill experience, a strong understanding of House procedure, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
