The Office of Representative Harley Rouda is seeking a highly energetic, motivated, and organized individual with strong writing, research, and interpersonal skills for the Legislative Correspondent position. Duties include management of an active constituent correspondence program, researching and proposing legislation, meeting with constituents and interest groups, monitoring House floor proceedings, and other duties as assigned.
Interested candidates should be a team player and have an interest in legislative issues, excellent attention to detail, and organizational and proofreading skills. California ties, experience using Intranet Quorum (IQ), and Capitol Hill experience preferred. This is not an entry-level position.
