Jessica Kartalija: “Making space to ‘Make it in America.’ A grand opening in Port Covington brings the Congressional ‘Make It In America’ plan to south Baltimore. WJZ is live; political reporter Pat Warren explains how The Foundery fits in with the national plan for economic recovery.”

Pat Warren: “It’s called a maker space, and what that does is give you the opportunity to bring your ideas together with your skills…. Maryland Congressman Steny Hoyer’s office reports since 2010, Make It In America has seen laws passed to cut taxes and provide loans for small businesses, to speed up the patent process, to train skilled workers, and end tax loopholes that encourage companies to shift jobs overseas.”

Whip Hoyer: “If we make it a lot of products in America a lot of Americans are going to make it.
