Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon seeks an experienced Communications Assistant to work in either the Washington, D.C. or Pennsylvania office. Duties will include drafting op-eds, press releases, blog posts, and website and social media content and graphic/web design. This position requires excellent writing and graphic design skills, creativity, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A successful candidate will have a demonstrated desire for a career in political or policy communications. Prior political or policy communications experience is a plus, as is experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
