Scheduler / Executive Assistant (Rep. Costa)

Rep. Jim Costa (CA-16) seeks an experienced, well-organized, and detail-oriented Scheduler/Executive Assistant to manage the Member’s Washington D.C. schedule and administrative duties.

Strong candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail, be able to anticipate problems and offer solutions, communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively with different teams. This individual will work closely with the Member, DC and district staff.  Responsibilities include tracking, evaluating, and responding to all scheduling requests in DC, organizing the Member’s daily briefing materials, coordinating the Member’s travel arrangement (including logistics for domestic and international travel), organizing the Member’s short-term and long-term schedule, acting as a liaison to constituent groups, handling the Member’s correspondence, and various additional administrative duties, as required. 

Previous scheduling and/or Capitol Hill experience is highly desirable. California ties are highly encouraged but not required.  Salary is commensurate with experience. This is not an entry-level position.
