Legislative Assistant

Rep. Don Beyer (VA-08), a member of the Ways and Means committee, is seeking a Legislative Assistant to cover economic policy issues with a particular focus on tax policy.

Qualified candidates will have significant legislative and/or policy experience and creative, nimble minds. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a necessity.

Responsibilities will be varied but include: Developing and tracking legislation, advising Rep. Beyer on a wide range of policy matters, interfacing with diverse groups of stakeholders, and staffing Rep. Beyer for committee hearings and markups.
