Legislative Assistant

Congresswoman Madeleine Dean is seeking a Legislative Assistant to oversee her Judiciary Portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working with the Member and legislative staff to develop and implement policy goals and objectives; preparing and staffing Member for all Judiciary hearings and mark-ups; drafting and introducing legislation; and interacting with outside stakeholder groups.

Successful candidates should have strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced/team setting.

Pennsylvania ties, law degree, and previous experience on the Hill preferred. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
