Remote Internship

The office of Congresswoman Nanette Barragán (CA-44) is currently accepting applications for full and part-time interns for the Summer 2021 internship session. Internships will be conducted remotely, with the possibility of occasional in person work later in the summer. Interns for the Washington, D.C office can expect to conduct legislative research, attend virtual hearings, assist with projects as needed, and learn the day-to-day operations of a legislative congressional office. Interns assigned to the District office in San Pedro, CA can expect to assist with constituent services, conduct research, and assist on special projects relevant to the district.

Email subject line should specify which office (D.C, or District|San Pedro) the applicant is applying for. Washington, D.C. applicants should address materials to Nicole Sciabarra and District|San Pedro applicants should address materials to Francisco Lopez. The application deadline is April 11, 2021 by 11:59 PM PST. Approximate start date for Summer 2021 interns is May 17, but flexible.
