Senior Policy Advisor

Senator Bob Casey, Chairman of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, is seeking an experienced policy professional to serve as his Senior Policy Advisor for retirement security and consumer protection. This individual will work closely with the Senator’s personal office and Committee teams to anticipate opportunities to include policy priorities related to Social Security, frauds and scams as well as benefits access in legislation moving through Committees and the Senate; oversee Committee and caucus outreach to external stakeholders; create opportunities for press and events nationally and in state; and shape Committee hearings, reports, issues briefs, and other content. Qualified candidates will have substantive experience in retirement security policy, as well as other issues affecting the financial well-being of older Americans. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver who consistently exercises excellent judgment and works well independently. Pennsylvania ties always a plus.
