Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) seeks organized, energetic and detail-oriented Scheduler for the D.C. office. Candidates must be meticulous, organized, proactive, demonstrate excellent communications skills, and have the ability to prioritize and follow-through on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities include working with Chief of Staff and District Scheduler to manage and maintain the Members’ daily and long-term schedule; coordinate and book travel; evaluate and organize all incoming meeting and event requests with senior staff; and work closely with the member and staff to ensure smooth daily office operations.
Some scheduling or administrative experience preferred, and California ties a plus. Candidates must be available to assist Member and staff outside of regular business hours, have the ability to prioritize and follow through on time sensitive requests and manage a busy and complicated schedule, including state and national travel. This office is strongly committed to professional development, and an ideal candidate will also contribute to the Office’s work in other ways, including assisting press and/or legislative staff.
