Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) seeks a proactive, organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Staff Assistant for the Washington, DC, office. This position is currently primarily remote, but will be expected to relocate to D.C. and will be based in the D.C. office when in-person work resumes. Responsibilities will include maintaining the front office, handling incoming correspondence and calls, booking tour and flag requests, providing administrative and technological support to staff, and taking other tasks as assigned. This position will report to the Legislative Director and Chief of Staff. Successful applicants will have strong organizational skills, outstanding writing ability, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to traditional tasks, an ideal candidate will contribute to other aspects of our highly collaborative office as needed.
