North Coast California office is seeking a Legislative Assistant to handle a broad domestic policy portfolio that includes judiciary, health care, agriculture, education, and economic issues.
Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to be a self-starter. Job responsibilities will include drafting legislation and amendments, writing legislative memos, and engaging with key constituent groups and stakeholders.
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in the House or Senate. This is not an entry-level position.
