Legislative Assistant

Congressman Donald Norcross (D-NJ) seeks a Legislative Assistant to support his work on the Education and Labor Committee and handle a policy portfolio that includes labor, health, and education, among other issues. Responsibilities include briefing and advising the Member on policy issues, developing and advancing legislative initiatives, building relationships with constituent groups and advocacy organizations, and other tasks as required.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of labor policy and be familiar with the legislative process. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. New Jersey ties are a plus.
