Education and Labor Legislative Assistant

The office of Congresswoman Katherine Clark seeks a Legislative Assistant to advance her work on women’s economic empowerment and equity, including coverage of education and labor on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. Responsibilities of this position include drafting and analyzing legislation, conducting research, writing policy memos, meeting with constituents, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and staffing Appropriations Committee hearings.

Ideal candidates will be excellent writers, have familiarity with the appropriations process, and a passion for education or labor policy.
