Congressman Earl Blumenauer is seeking a scheduler in his Washington, DC office. Applicants must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, keep a positive attitude, and multi-task well. The ideal scheduler possesses a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well with different teams and keep calm under pressure.
This is a great position for a former Hill staffer looking for additional years federal service or someone with previous executive assistant experience looking to work on Capitol Hill.
Responsibilities include developing, coordinating and managing Member’s daily and long-term schedule in D.C. and Portland, as well as tracking, evaluating and responding to invitations and scheduling requests. The scheduler also coordinates all travel for the Member, files travel receipts and works closely with the Member as required on other necessary tasks. This position coordinates closely with the rest of the senior staff team to ensure smooth daily schedules and operations.
