Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher (TX-7) seeks a positive, well-organized, and detail-oriented scheduler for the Washington, DC office.

Strong candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail, be able to anticipate problems and offer solutions, communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment with good humor, and work effectively with different teams. This individual will work closely with the Member, DC staff, and district staff. Responsibilities include tracking, evaluating, and responding to all scheduling requests in DC and Houston, organizing the Member’s daily briefing materials, coordinating the Member’s travel arrangement, organizing the Member’s short-term and long-term schedule, and performing other duties as required. Applicants must have superior organizational skills, ability to multi-task, a positive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position involves long hours and availability by phone on weekends and evenings.

Previous scheduling and/or Capitol Hill experience is highly desirable. Texas ties are highly encouraged but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience. This is not an entry-level position.
