BILINGUAL CONSTITUENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Illinois Congressman from Cook/Lake County suburban district office has an opening for a Bilingual Constituent Service Representative to do both casework and community outreach. This role will do targeted (although not exclusive) outreach and casework in the Hispanic and Latino Community. Written and oral fluency in Spanish is required. Spanish interpretation and translation will be part of the role.

The ideal candidate has a background in social services, can communicate effectively with constituents and federal liaisons, be responsive with excellent attention to detail and follow through, able to work through issues to get to resolution.

A strong history of working with community organizations and advocates is highly desired. We are looking for a person who is passionate about public service, highly organized, able to talk to anyone, and always handles themselves with professionalism.

This is a full-time role with salary and benefits. Due to House rules, applicants must be a US citizen or lawful resident with work authorization.
