Senior Democratic member from California seeks in-person interns for the Spring 2022 semester in a fast-paced Congressional Office where they will gain valuable exposure to and knowledge of the legislative process and the United States Congress.
Applicants should be positive, motivated, organized and reliable individuals willing to assist with the legislative and administrative needs of the staff. Duties include compiling press clips, attending briefings and hearings, performing legislative research and various other tasks to assist staff. Applicants must have strong written and oral communication skills. Successful interns will be able to find information with little assistance, be able to work both independently as well as part of a team environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.
This internship will be in-person in the congressman’s Washington D.C. office.
