Digital Press Assistant

The Office of Congressman David Cicilline is seeking a Digital Press Assistant based in his Washington, DC office. The Digital Press Assistant reports directly to the Communications Director and will work closely with the legislative and district teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Crafting content and managing day-to-day social media, including weekends

  • Managing and updating the website

  • Developing graphics and videos

  • Working with the DC and Rhode Island teams on events, including livestreaming

Ideal candidates will be creative, quick witted, and proficient in Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, LightRoom, Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects), CMS, CSS, HTML, manual photography, and analytics. Candidates with diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Candidates must thrive in a collaborative, fast-based environment and have a good sense of humor. Candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
