The Office of Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Comms and Staff Assistant in a fast-paced and highly collaborative Capitol Hill office.
Comms responsibilities will include compiling and distributing daily press clips, captioning floor videos/ interviews in a timely fashion (sometimes outside of standard business hours), media monitoring, drafting social media content, managing press lists, and other special projects as they arise. The candidate will also be expected to answer phone calls, organize tour and flag requests on behalf of constituents, and manage interns. Other administrative and comms responsibilities will be delegated as needed.
Excellent writing and strong organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Canva, or other graphic design programs is preferred. Connections to Colorado and the 6th District are a plus. This position will report to the Communications Director and Director of Operations.
