Congressman Brendan Boyle (PA-02), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Budget Committee, seeks a hard-working and detail-oriented Scheduler to work in his Washington, D.C. office.

Ideal candidates will be attentive to detail, have exceptional organizational abilities, possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and should be able to work successfully and efficiently in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Successful candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Outlook), possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proactive in anticipating problems and proposing solutions. Successful candidates should be prepared to occasionally work evenings as needed, particularly during session days/weeks.

This position reports directly to the Washington and District Chiefs of Staff in addition to the member.


  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the Congressman's schedule in Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania.

  • Receiving, responding to and organizing all incoming scheduling requests for the member.

  • Collecting relevant logistical and background information for invitations and calendar entries.

  • Coordinating member travel, including managing bookings, travel related expenses and other travel related logistics.

  • Working closely with staff on scheduling recommendations, as well as drafting and updating event memoranda for the member.

Prior executive-level experience or political Capitol Hill scheduling experience is strongly preferred. Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience.
