Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) seeks a Digital Manager based in South Jersey or Washington, D.C. to help oversee all elements of his digital media strategy. The role requires excellent writing and technical skills, the ability to manage rapid response requests and longer-term projects, a keen understanding of digital media and graphic design programs, and enthusiastic creativity.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to: managing and creating content for the congressman’s social media platforms, maintaining the office’s website, graphic design projects, and video filming/editing. The Digital Manager will report to the communications director and work closely with the legislative and district staff. Qualified applicants will have experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Indesign, and Premier , as well as a keen understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Experience managing paid campaigns preferred. The Digital Manager will also be responsible for attending events to livestream, film and/or photograph. While the individual’s primary responsibilities would center on digital efforts, they would assist in other day-to-day operations as a member of an active press office, including but not limited to drafting of e-newsletters, press releases, and other written materials.
