Congressman Schneider Seeks Press Assistant
Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) seeks a Press Assistant for his suburban Chicago office. The Press Assistant reports directly to the Communications Director and will work closely with the district and legislative teams.
Responsibilities include managing the weekly newsletter, drafting talking points and other written materials including press releases and speeches, creating digital content, compiling daily press clips, assisting with livestream events, and promoting district events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communications skills, the ability to work collaboratively, high attention to detail and work well under deadline. Spanish-language skills are strongly preferred. Illinois ties are a plus.
