Legislative Correspondent

Congressman Andy Levin seeks a Legislative Correspondent to serve in the Washington, D.C. office.

Responsibilities will include managing a very active constituent correspondence program, drafting and distributing a weekly constituent newsletter and other proactive outreach, assisting legislative staff with writing, research and other legislative tasks, as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to bold, progressive policy change. Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines are essential. Previous Hill experience, including familiarity with the IQ constituent response management system, is strongly preferred. Michigan ties are a plus. Women, people of color, LGBTQ persons, and members of other underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
