Handling the Member’s correspondence
Managing operational and logistical support for the office.
Ideal candidates are flexible, responsive, work well under pressure and on short deadlines, are able to balance competing demands, and are able to anticipate problems and offer solutions. Candidates must be available to assist the member outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends. Applicants should also have a positive attitude, sense of humor, excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, political instincts and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to drive the Congresswoman is strongly preferred.
The office is an equal opportunity employer. Women, people of color, and LGBTQ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. NJ ties, as always, are a plus.
Qualified candidates should submit their applications (resume, cover letter, references, and three writing samples) to email@example.com with “Scheduler” in the subject line.
