Congresswoman Sylvia R. Garcia seeks a Scheduler based in the Washington, DC office. Principal duties will include managing incoming scheduling requests, booking and coordinating member’s official travel, answering phone calls and emails, staffing the member for weekly scheduling meetings, constantly monitoring changes to and updating the member’s schedule especially during in-session weeks, greeting visitors and coordinating their attendance for in-person meetings, managing office needs such as supplies, processing financial documents such as invoices and travel reimbursements, and providing additional office support as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability a major plus. Management of a small policy portfolio is an opportunity once a candidate has mastered primary scheduling
