The House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC) seeks a Press Assistant to support a dynamic team executing a proactive, aggressive messaging strategy.
The DPCC Press Assistant is responsible for generating and producing content, compiling clips, preparing correspondence, and contributing to the development and execution of the DPCC’s messaging strategy. The Press Assistant is also expected to assist the DPCC Executive Director in the development and execution of one minute and five-minute floor speeches, frequent messaging meetings, and other member services.
Candidates should be energetic, organized, politically astute, and able to collaborate with others in a tight-knit, fast-paced environment.
