Legislative Director

Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon seeks an experienced Legislative Director to manage a legislative team in developing, implementing, and advancing all aspects of a broad legislative agenda. The Congresswoman sits on the House Judiciary Committee, Rules Committee, and Committee on House Administration. Successful candidates should have experience working with these committees as well as leadership offices, and demonstrated results moving legislation in the House and Senate.

Previous managerial experience, expert knowledge of legislative processes and procedures, excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and flexibility with priorities required.  Applicants should be currently employed in the House of Representatives, with at least 3-5 years of experience.
