Staff Assistant: Representative Seth Moulton (MA-06) is seeking a Staff Assistant for his Washington, DC team. Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, overseeing frontline constituent communications, including incoming calls, walk-ins, tours, and flag requests, as well as overseeing daily office operations. Additionally, the staff assistant supervises a robust internship program and handles other administrative or operational duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, impeccable attention to detail, strong time and project management skills, a great sense of humor, a commitment to public service, and a desire to be part of a highly-collaborative, high-achieving team. Capitol Hill experience and Massachusetts ties are a plus. Staff Assistant Responsibilities 

  • Onboarding and offboarding staffers 

  • Overseeing tech spreadsheet for DC staff

  • Managing internship program

  • Office management in DC (AOC/CAO etc)

  • Coordinating flag and tour requests

  • Purchasing letterhead, business cards, office supplies, etc

  • Sending receipts to finance monthly

  • Tracking compliance for mandatory USHR trainings

  • Maintaining subscriptions and admin for Drive, Slack, and BGov
