Committee Digital Director

House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Democrats seek a Digital Director for a fast-paced office. The Digital Director plays a key role on the Communications team and is responsible for creating the visual elements to accompany and promote the Committee’s priorities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Planning for and actively managing the T&I Dems’ social media platforms
  • Crafting social media guidance and helping develop messaging for Members of the Committee
  • Managing the Committee website and ensuring it showcases timely, impactful content
  • Developing branding and other graphic design materials for major pieces of legislation and general messaging purposes
  • Video filming and editing, photography
  • Preparing video scripts and talking points for Members of the Committee
  • Working with the House Recording Studio and Media Center to schedule and manage livestreams for Committee events
  • Collaborating with Member offices and outside groups on Committee initiatives
  • Creating posters and visual aids for floor speeches and press conferences

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong video editing, graphic design, and social media skills; experience with OBS; the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure; be responsive outside normal working hours; use good judgment; and enjoy working on a team. Hill experience is a plus but not required.
