Junior Legislative Assistant

The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking a junior Legislative Assistant to assist the professional staff of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. Must have attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and be a self-motivated, team player who will jump in to assist with a variety of tasks. The position will include significant administrative work such as answering phones, spreadsheet development and management, and pulling together materials for committee hearings and markups, with more substantive policy work as time allows.
