Legislative Assistant

handle a policy portfolio including, but not limited to, labor, workforce, and
financial services. The ideal candidate will have Hill experience, a strong
understanding of the legislative process, excellent writing and organizational
skills, impeccable attention to detail, a commitment to bold and progressive
policy change, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is not an
entry-level position. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,
conceptualizing and drafting legislation, writing hearing remarks and questions,
authoring legislative memos, preparing briefing materials, and representing the
member at meetings with stakeholders.
