Last night, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) joined Fox News’ Life, Liberty & Levin to discuss the chaos of the Democrat Party, as party bosses invalidated the primary votes of 14 million people and removed a President from the ballot so they can install their preferred candidate. Leader Scalise also highlighted the stark contrast between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, as Vice President Harris owns the record of failure of the Biden Administration with skyrocketing inflation, the worst border crisis in history, and chaos around the world. 
On the coup of Joe Biden:

“Well Mark, great to be with you. And frankly, I think it's very telling that the leaders of the Democrat Party who are really behind this coup of Joe Biden – it started with Obama, Pelosi, and Schumer – they have not endorsed Kamala. And so I really think there might still be a Michelle Obama play that they're working on behind the scenes. 

“These people have no respect for their own voters. We've already seen that. As they lecture you and I on democracy, they literally just trashed 14 million Democrat primary voters who went to the polls to pick Joe Biden. They threw that out the window already, so they don't care about them. But what's next? You know, Kamala, I think is out there as a trial balloon. And as we saw before, when she ran for president, she's the only person to run for president in memory, who never won a single state. She never won any primary. And it's because I think she finished at 1% popularity in the primaries when she got out of the presidential race. 

“And look how well she's done as president. You know, as border czar, that's the biggest problem and crisis in America. And she is the poster child for the failure that is the border right now. Look at so many other things she did – crime is out of control. She's the one who actually raised the money that Minnesota Freedom Fund back during the 'Summer of Love' when they were burning down police stations. She raised money to bail people out of jail, to help those people out that were actually going and doing, committing a lot of those crimes. That's her record. And that's frankly not where most America is.”

On the weakness of Kamala Harris:

“Yeah, I don't think they went through this entire coup. And look, they've all known just like we knew, by the way, for the last few years that Joe Biden was in cognitive decline. Don't let anybody tell you they found it out the night of the debate. That's the person that's lying to you. So they've known this for years. It wasn't until they realized the rest of America figured it out. And then they saw Donald Trump doing so well. Donald Trump won that debate. And then you saw such a great unified Republican convention, where Donald Trump brought the party in, not only together but brought more people into the tent, so many new people that are coming into our party that they said we have got to jettison this guy. And the party bosses and it was all you know, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, all those party bosses got behind some smoke-filled room and said, we're going to pick somebody else but we're going to jettison Joe. 

“Who they pick, they're not settled yet on Kamala, I think they're going see who gives them the best chance because all they care about, Mark, is power. Just raw power to go keep moving this crazy far-left socialist agenda that's ruining America. And frankly, that's why they're losing. It has nothing to do with Joe Biden, Kamala. All of them are the problem because they all are pushing this far-left agenda that America is sick and tired of. And Donald Trump is talking about fighting for those families who are struggling. That's why Donald Trump's doing so well.”

On Americans seeking the strong leadership of Donald Trump:

“They really don't [have a strong bench]. And the people that have been around in the Democrat politics that have achieved high levels, like Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer, go look at their states. Their states are in disarray. I mean, full Democrat control – they call it liberal, utopian-run states are the ones that are losing millions of people. And where are they going? To states that are run by Republicans.

"You know, do you really think in this year where everyone in California, New York, Michigan, Illinois, are moving to Texas and Florida and Tennessee, which are all run by Republicans, do you think this is the year where magically a liberal is going to go and beat Donald Trump who has a great track record in his four years as president of turning the economy around, of securing the border, of establishing peace around the world? We actually had peace, two Abraham Accords between Israel and Middle Eastern countries. Now we have disarray in every part of the world because of the failures of this whole Biden-Harris administration. [Kamala Harris] is to the left of Joe Biden.”
